Painting Tyler Texas was great fun.  Even though the day was overcast.  It provided great problem solving.   The painting above was painted at a beautiful ranch.  The red barn was a striking presence in the distance, too irresistable, I had to paint it.  This long format was new to me.  I really enjoyed the ease of painting this longer canvas.  I think this 2 to 1 ratio works really nice with the rolling hills of the ranch.  I hope to paint this scene again.  It was so beautiful !
