I spent four days paintings in Trinadad Colorado, with the Outdoor Painters Society. We painted all along Hwy. 12. This photo is of one of the art critics we meet along the way. Isn't he fabulous! He was only one of the 30 to 40 deer and elk we encountered along the way.
The people of Trinadad were so nice. I don't think I have ever incountered so many people who offered their own land for us to paint on. It was really a nice change to the normal get off my property looks I usually get. It was nice to feel welcome. Very nice people in Trinadad.
Special thanks goes to Eric Michael's and his lovely wife. They opened there home, and prepaired a wonderful spread of food for all the hungry painters! We had good conversation and wonderful painting. Trinadad suprised me with some really great veiws to paint. If you get a chance drive down Hwy. 12 from Trinadad, the sights are beautiful!
