Down in Athens Texas, at Bruce Peil's Place I painted this scene of the dirt path leading into the pasture.  This painting started out in overcast light, then sun, then overcast.   I need to remember to watch all the strokes.   Oh well, it is what it is!

I had good fun and GREAT food, and lots of art conversations with the OPS members that came out to paint. The day turned out to be good weather wise.  I painted two paintings for the day.

Bruce Peil has a new studio on the his place.  It was a delight to view his work, and discuss his paintings with him.  I think I will try and take a workshop from him in his new studio space.

Thanks for all who treated us so well  !!!  It was so nice to have lunch prepared for us. What  a wonderful day of plein air painting!
