Today I painted with Plein Air Artist of Colorado, in New Mexico.  We drove over to Placitas.  This is a beautiful little valley town tucked between towering mountains about 20 minuets south of Taos, just down hwy 75 .  The little village is full of pueblo style houses, with a tiny little church in the center.  Very old structures some in good shape, some no so much.

This painting scene was of the valley pastures and mountain range.  Even though rain threatened us all day, we managed to get in three paintings.  This was a wonderful location.  It was very paintable, very secluded, and we were serenaded the entire time by a swift moving stream.  What a great day!
